Chempolis will open new-generation pilot plant services for the Formico™Fib, Formico™Bio, and Formico™Chem processes in 2008. The pilot plants will serve customers in the following functions:
- Pilot-scale testing of different non-wood and non-food raw materials
- Production of non-wood pulps for pilot-scale paper machine tests
- Pilot-scale production of non-food biofuels and their raw materials
- Pilot-scale productionf non-wood and non-food-based biochemicals and their raw materials
- Training of project personnel
- Optimisation of industrial operating Formico™ processes
