Chempolis will open new-generation pilot plant services for the formicofib™, formicobio™, and formicochem™ processes in 2008. The pilot plants will serve customers in the following functions:

• Pilot-scale testing of different non-wood and non-food raw materials
• Production of non-wood pulps for pilot-scale paper machine tests
• Pilot-scale production of non-food biofuels and their raw materials
• Pilot-scale productionf non-wood and non-food-based biochemicals and their raw materials
• Training of project personnel
• Optimisation of industrial operating formico® processes
